Primary Teacher (Grades 2 & 3)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to educate and support students in Grades 2 and 3 across all subjects. The role involves fostering an encouraging, interactive learning atmosphere that helps children grow academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), Hindi/Marathi, and General Knowledge.
• Design and implement daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Evaluate student progress through class assignments, homework, projects, and tests.
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, and generate report cards.
• Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports active learning.
• Handle classroom discipline using constructive behavior management techniques.
• Maintain regular communication with parents about student performance and progress.
• Engage actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Possession of D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. qualification is preferred or as per school's policies.
• Proficiency in English and either Hindi or Marathi for effective communication.
• Basic competency with computer applications such as MS Office or Google Classroom.
• Focus on child-centered teaching methodologies.
• Strong classroom management capabilities.
• Skillful lesson planning paired with creativity and patience.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with colleagues and parents.

Experience

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience teaching primary school children will be given an advantage.

Compensation

The salary package offered ranges between INR 10,000 and INR 20,000 per month.
