About the Role
We are in search of a dedicated Primary Photographer who excels at capturing compelling moments and telling stories through their craft. This role requires an individual who creates engaging content capable of grabbing attention across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Possess over three years of experience in professional photography, with a strong portfolio in commercial, lifestyle, events, and brand photography.
- Demonstrate excellent skills in photographic composition, lighting techniques, framing, and visual storytelling.
- Manage photography projects independently from initial concept stages through to final execution.
- Exhibit proficient post-production capabilities including advanced colour grading.
- Adapt seamlessly to various brand aesthetics and thrive in fast-moving shoot environments.
- Primary expertise in photography combined with competence in producing high-quality video content when required.
Technical Requirements - Equipment and Expertise
- Own and operate a high-end, full-frame professional camera system.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of professional lenses, lighting setups, and camera accessories.
- Comfortable capturing both still images and video footage.
- Bonus familiarity with 4K video production, including frame rates, log profiles, and professional video workflow processes.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Capable of producing compelling Reels and video content tailored for social media platforms.
- Understanding of visual storytelling focused on social-first content strategies.
- Previous work experience with agencies, brand campaigns, events, or clients in the lifestyle sector.
- Ability to maintain composure and work independently even when project briefs change shortly before shoots.
