PriceFX Configuration Engineer

Position Overview

CGI is seeking a seasoned Pricefx Configuration Engineer or Consultant to join their Bengaluru team. The role demands expertise in configuring, customizing, and deploying Pricefx pricing management solutions. This position is full-time and based on-site in Bengaluru.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, configure, customize, and maintain Pricefx pricing management applications aligned with business needs.
• Manage Pricefx administration, enhancements, and development tasks.
• Develop and sustain Java-based software components.
• Convert business requirements into technical and pricing configuration solutions.
• Create and implement pricing business rules, strategies, and workflows.
• Focus on pricing management, price optimization, and revenue management initiatives.
• Integrate Pricefx with external systems using RESTful APIs.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure cloud services for application deployment and development.
• Perform software analysis including programming, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting issues in various environments.
• Adhere to software development lifecycle best practices encompassing coding standards, refactoring, source control, testing, building, and deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with business analysts, technical teams, and management to gather and clarify requirements.
• Suggest process and application performance improvements.
• Operate efficiently within Agile and self-managed environments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Certification as a Pricefx Configuration Engineer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Pricefx configuration, customization, and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of pricing management concepts and domain expertise including price optimization, revenue management, and commercial pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in Java development.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and their application.
• Experience integrating applications via REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SDLC practices including code reviews, version control, build and deployment tools, and testing methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks.

Desirable Skills

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
• Working experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Skills in application customization and front-end development.
• Understanding of cloud-based application integration and deployment techniques.
