Prestige Automotive Valeter

Position Overview

Join an esteemed automotive manufacturer in Solihull, West Midlands, as a Prestige Automotive Valeter. This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, within a private VIP department renowned for crafting luxury vehicles with uncompromising quality and innovation.

Primary Duties

• Conduct jet washing of vehicles
• Apply traffic film remover for superior cleaning
• Perform soap and sponge vehicle washes
• Blow dry and leather dry vehicles meticulously
• Vacuum interiors thoroughly
• Wipe and clean all interior trim surfaces
• Clean windows to a streak-free finish
• Remove watermarks efficiently
• Dress tyres and wheel arches to enhance appearance

Additional Accountabilities

• Participate in briefings led by Team Leaders
• Report hazards, near misses, and accidents promptly to Team Leaders
• Collaborate with team members to balance workload and uphold excellence
• Follow Health and Safety, COSHH, and Environmental guidelines rigorously

Required Knowledge and Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Driving Licence with no more than six points
• Proven professional experience in valeting
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to high-quality results
• Adaptable and open to assisting across various departments as necessary
• Willingness to travel between multiple sites if required
• Familiarity with COSHH regulations and safety standards

Employment Details

• Location: Solihull, England, United Kingdom
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
• Compensation: £13.44 per hour
• Work Setting: Onsite at a prestigious automotive manufacturing environment
