Presales Solutions Architect

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with sales specialists to secure data and AI projects. While the sales team manages client relationships, this role is responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process. The Architect will lead the vision, facilitate workshops, design technical solution architectures, and create detailed estimates and technical documents that help close opportunities. This position offers flexibility to shape how it functions by collaborating closely with the Data Practice Manager and senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of sales pursuits from start to finish, including conducting workshops, creating compelling solution narratives, drafting architecture designs, and preparing estimates.
• Develop commercially feasible scopes of work focusing on Azure and Databricks platforms.
• Produce technical content for proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and tender documents.
• Deliver and justify solutions and cost estimates to executive-level stakeholders.
• Scope and execute paid discovery engagements and roadmap planning, including initiatives funded by Microsoft.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven expertise in designing data, analytics, and AI solution architectures, preferably with consulting or technology partner experience.
• Successful track record of shaping and winning large-scale project opportunities.
• Ability to confidently engage with executive stakeholders and maintain credibility with engineering teams.
• Strong skills in estimation and commercial deal structuring.
