Role Summary

We are currently inviting applications for the role of Prepper-Polisher within our Paint Department, under the supervision of the Manager of Paint Operations. This full-time, hourly-based role qualifies for overtime compensation and involves working on either the first or second shift. Second shift work offers an additional 8% shift premium over the base pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepping tasks including primer sanding, identifying and repairing minor dents, masking, and filler mixing for dent repairs.
• Polishing duties encompassing color correction, smoothing out minor surface imperfections, and eliminating orange peel texture through polishing techniques.
• Flexibility to operate on 1st or 2nd shift schedules with adherence to overtime eligibility.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience in automotive body shop work or detailing.
• Alternatively, candidates actively training for a career in automotive refinishing will be considered.
• Strict compliance with the company’s Department of Transportation (DOT) anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention policies.
• Consistent and dependable attendance record.

Compensation and Benefits

• An hourly pay range between $19.00 and $25.00.
