Overview

The role involves carrying out all dishwashing tasks and upholding cleanliness within the kitchen area. Key Responsibilities

• Clean, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small kitchen tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Assist with receiving kitchen deliveries and ensure proper storage, organization, and rotation of goods.
• Report punctually, present a neat appearance, and be prepared to work all assigned shifts including required trainings and meetings.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, respond promptly to customer needs, and utilize suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages courteously and promptly.
• Optimize sales opportunities through correct prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products.
• Follow established procedures including compliance with weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work protocols.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment and ensure equipment upkeep per company safety and cleanliness standards.
• Perform assigned opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks; verify accuracy of signage and pricing; promptly report any safety hazards or violations.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

Experience and Physical Requirements

• No previous retail experience is necessary.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Spend 6 to 8 hours standing or walking during an 8-hour shift.
• Use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Perform movements including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Work with FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Tolerate temperatures ranging from freezing (below 32°F), refrigeration (32-40°F), to temperatures above 90°F.
• Work in both wet and dry conditions.
• Flexible schedule including availability nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery; may require ladder use.

The position has an hourly wage range of $19.00 to $25.40, depending on experience.
