Precision CNC Machinist

Job Overview

We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our manufacturing team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machinery to create, adjust, and repair machine components, equipment, and tools with close adherence to specified tolerances. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a safety-conscious environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate precision machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining procedures and requirements.
• Conduct accurate measurements and quality checks using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Cut, form, and fabricate parts meeting strict specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery to ensure efficient performance and safety compliance.
• Oversee production workflows and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturing processes.
• Strictly follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines throughout operations.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and production methods and processes.
• Understanding of raw materials and quality control systems.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Exposure to process improvement techniques is advantageous.
• Competence in machinery, tooling, and manufacturing workflows.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong computer literacy, especially with inspection and reporting software.

Skills and Competencies

• Proven practical experience as a CNC Machinist or similar hands-on machining background.
• Comprehensive understanding of machining concepts, mathematics, and mechanical principles.
• Accurate interpretation of blueprints and technical documentation.
• Excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
