About the Role

Join Everpure as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to architect foundational data solutions for top-tier organizations. You will facilitate digital transformations by showcasing how to transition from legacy storage solutions to cutting-edge cloud-native platforms using Everpure and Portworx technologies, ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth insight into customers' business drivers and decision-making processes.
• Link technology offerings, including Everpure's portfolio and partner ecosystem, to clearly defined business outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to deliver cohesive strategies that enhance revenue and cultivate new business.
• Effectively communicate and demonstrate the benefits of Everpure solutions.
• Lead the technical aspects of sales strategy development and refine tactics accordingly.
• Provide expert technical guidance on storage products, distributed storage setups, file systems, and competitive storage technologies such as DAS, NAS, and SAN.
• Manage evaluations, benchmarking, and system configuration efforts to support sales.
• Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and accurately address customer requirements to secure deals.
• Prepare detailed responses to RFIs and RFPs and discover new testing and validation opportunities for product interoperability and performance.
• Engage in product roadmap discussions and contribute to marketing material creation alongside product and technical marketing teams.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving technologies to provide thought leadership internally.

Qualifications and Skills

• A creative, empathetic, open-minded professional with a passion for continual learning.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in technology, system design, or communication, preferably within enterprise storage, networking, cloud, or software sales support.
• Strong expertise in multi-tier client/server and web-based computing architectures.
• Proven success in prospect engagement and client conversion.
• Experience leading or contributing significantly to RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
• In-depth knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures such as FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, NFS file systems, and distributed Linux network environments.
• Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
• Practical experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage and cache architectures, and windowing systems.
• Understanding of container technologies, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
• Broad knowledge of digital transformation principles including cloud-native architectures, on-premises and public clouds, provisioning automation, and containerization.
• Experience with VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g. LAMP stack, scale-out architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, microservices) is favorable.
• Passion for technology and the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and new platforms to customers.
• Familiarity with storage-intensive applications like SQL and Oracle databases is highly preferred.
