Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Cloud technologies to play a pivotal role in technical sales discussions. The ideal candidate will design and scope Google Cloud solutions for clients throughout Saudi Arabia, conducting discovery sessions, demos, and transforming business requirements into practical architectures for the engineering team to implement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to support opportunities from initial client meetings through to proposal sign-off.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and design tailored Google Cloud architectures that align with client objectives and budgets.
- Provide demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and address requests for proposals (RFPs) and tenders.
- Develop clear statements of work and technical proposals that delivery teams can readily execute.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Google Cloud technologies and Apex’s broader offerings, sharing insights with colleagues.
Required Experience and Skills
- Practical understanding of Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud technologies and architectural design.
- Prior experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or consulting roles.
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Expertise in drafting scopes of work, design documents, and responses to RFPs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud certification at Associate or Professional level.
- Familiarity with security, application delivery, or IT operations solutions.
- Experience with public sector tenders within Saudi Arabia.
