Role Overview
In the position of Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical resource for pQCee's partners and customers. Your role involves engaging clients to gather detailed technical and business needs, designing integration strategies for the deployment of our post-quantum products, and collaborating closely with the delivery team to support sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and communicate partner and customer requirements within pQCee teams.
- Collaborate with the sales division to address complex technical inquiries.
- Work with partner channel teams to create pilot projects, demonstrations, and sandbox environments to highlight diverse post-quantum applications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong presentation and live demonstration capabilities in technical workshops and customized sales pitches.
- Support sales negotiations by assisting with proposal structuring and responding to RFPs.
- Enable resellers and partners by providing training on product integration, market positioning, and revenue potential.
- Solid understanding of public key cryptography, TCP/IP networking, X.509 certificates, and digital signature processes.
- Experience with building, compiling, and utilizing cryptographic utilities and APIs such as PKCS#11, PKCS#7, and OpenSSL is advantageous.
- Demonstrated strong personal integrity and the capacity to work autonomously while challenging prevailing standards.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with a respectable academic record.
Additional Information
- Preferred professional experience range: 6 to 10 years.
- Key expertise areas include cryptographic algorithm development, sales processes, vendor and stakeholder management, customer relationship management (CRM), and requirements analysis.
