Pre-Primary Teacher

About the Role

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher and Daycare Caregiver who enjoys nurturing young children. The candidate will be tasked with creating a safe, caring, and stimulating atmosphere that promotes early learning, child development, and overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement learning activities suited to preschoolers' developmental stages.
• Introduce fundamental concepts including alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, rhymes, and storytelling.
• Conduct creative sessions such as drawing, coloring, music, dance, and crafts.
• Encourage social, emotional, mental, and physical growth in children.
• Promote positive habits, communication, sharing, and discipline using reinforcement techniques.

Daycare Duties:

• Supervise and care for children during daycare hours, ensuring safety and hygiene.
• Assist with meals, handwashing, restroom routines, and naps as per age needs.
• Engage kids with indoor/outdoor play and leisure activities.
• Provide comfort and attention to children's needs patiently and sensitively.

Parent and Administrative Communication:

• Maintain attendance and daily activity logs.
• Update parents on children's development, behavior, meals, and other key information.
• Notify management and parents about health issues, injuries, or behavioral incidents following center policies.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of classrooms, toys, and daycare facilities.
• Adhere strictly to regulations concerning childcare, hygiene, safety, and emergency protocols.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Minimum education: completion of 12th grade; preferably hold a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori Education, or related field.
• Previous experience in preschool teaching, daycare, or childcare is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patient, caring, energetic, and responsible character.
• Capability to calmly and positively manage young children.
• Basic understanding of child safety, hygiene, and developmental needs.

Compensation

This is a salaried position offering a monthly pay range from 10,000 to 15,000 INR.
