Role Impact

The Microsoft Cloud Platform Practice Architect is a senior technical leader within the Microsoft practice responsible for leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Cloud solutions. This role drives best practices, advances offerings, and partners closely with strategic customers to achieve transformative business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Azure technologies including Frontier partner/Foundary and IQ workloads.
• Keep abreast of emerging Microsoft innovations and lead adoption within the practice.
• Lead integration of cloud capabilities to enhance customer workflows and solutions.
• Develop, document, and continually refine methodologies and best practices for Azure implementations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product teams to maintain consistency across projects.
• Champion internal enablement and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Support development and refinement of Azure offerings, acting as an early adopter and pilot customer for new technologies.
• Provide presales support, technical leadership, and solution architecture on strategic engagements.
• Engage with key customers as a trusted advisor, leading workshops, architecture reviews, and executive briefings to ensure business impact and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and strategic partners to co-create innovative solutions.
• Represent Softchoice at industry events to share knowledge and promote best practices.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and early adoption of emerging cloud technologies.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver comprehensive Microsoft-based solutions to enterprise clients.
• Strong experience in methodology creation, technical leadership, and driving innovation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working closely with Microsoft and global strategic partners.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Minimum of 10 years technical experience, ideally within Microsoft technologies.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this role in Canada is CAD 120,800 to 151,000 annually, plus a target incentive of 14%. Actual compensation varies by location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
