Role Summary

We are seeking a PR Manager to lead and shape the company's media presence. This full-time remote role involves blending compelling storytelling with strategic relationship management to effectively handle press interactions, pitch stories to journalists, and uphold the organization’s reputation during sensitive times.

Primary Duties

• Design and implement PR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Identify and pitch stories to targeted media outlets and maintain robust journalist relationships.
• Prepare company spokespeople, conduct media training, and coordinate interviews.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and respond proactively to media inquiries during critical situations.
• Organize press releases, media kits, and schedule announcements efficiently.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze share of voice, and evaluate reputation metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of four years’ experience in public relations, communications, or media relations.
• Established contacts with journalists in relevant areas.
• Proven ability to secure significant media coverage in top-tier publications.
• Excellent written communication skills with expertise in crafting pitches, press releases, and quotations.
• Experienced in managing announcement processes from start to finish.
• Calm and analytical approach when operating under media pressure.
