Role Overview
We are seeking a PR Manager to shape and enhance the company's public presence through strategic storytelling and strong media relationships. This position entails pitching stories to journalists, managing the news cycle, and protecting the company's reputation during challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement PR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Pitch stories and secure placements with targeted media outlets and journalists.
- Coordinate media training and spokesperson preparation alongside handling interview arrangements.
- Lead crisis communications and manage reactive press responses effectively.
- Oversee press releases, media kits, and manage announcement timelines.
- Monitor media coverage including share of voice and reputation indicators.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in PR, communications, or media relations.
- Established relationships with journalists covering relevant sectors.
- Proven success securing coverage in prominent tier-1 media.
- Outstanding writing abilities, including crafting pitches, press releases, and quotations.
- Experience managing announcement processes from start to finish.
- Ability to remain composed and think logically under media pressure.
