About the Role

Become part of a prominent arts and entertainment organization during an exciting growth phase, contributing to a varied lineup of productions and events that garner both national and international attention. As a PR Executive, you will support the PR & Marketing team by collaborating closely with the Senior PR Manager to create and execute publicity initiatives aimed at securing impactful media coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of PR campaigns for various productions.
  • Compose, research, and disseminate press releases, statements, feature pitches, and additional PR documents.
  • Foster relationships with regional and trade journalists while aiding in outreach to national media.
  • Develop creative story ideas to obtain media coverage.
  • Organize press days, photo opportunities, premieres, and press trips, coordinating with media and talent.
  • Handle media and VIP ticketing for opening nights in collaboration with the Box Office.
  • Identify digital PR prospects and collaborate with Digital & Social teams to enhance campaign reach.
  • Track and report media coverage aligned with preset objectives.
  • Contribute to promotional strategies, assist with event planning, and manage general administrative PR duties.
  • Maintain updated media lists, press kits, images, and archives of coverage.
  • Support the creation of PR-related content for websites and social media alongside marketing teams.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in PR, communications, or media sectors.
  • Exceptional written English and adept copywriting abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with capability to handle multiple deadlines efficiently.
  • Interest in expanding a network of media contacts.
  • Passion for PR, particularly within arts and entertainment.
  • Relevant tertiary education or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, and Excel applications.
  • Proactive approach, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to engage actively in tasks.
  • Experience within the entertainment industry is advantageous.

Employment Benefits and Details

  • Annual salary range of €34,000 to €38,000, dependent on experience.
  • Hybrid working model with four days onsite and one day remote.
