The Power Platform Techno-Functional Consultant will deliver comprehensive solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, blending deep functional insight with practical technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fit-gap analyses and translate business needs into detailed functional and technical solution designs.
• Define business workflows, data structures, and architecture aligned with platform best practices.
• Develop user stories, design documentation, and manage delivery backlogs.
• Assist in functional testing through build, system integration, and user acceptance phases.
• Configure and customize applications using Dataverse, model-driven and canvas apps.
• Create automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Extend platform capabilities via plugins, custom APIs, JavaScript, and Azure services when necessary.
• Manage environment setup, solution deployments, and release controls.
• Configure and improve external portals leveraging Power Pages, enhancing user experience and accessibility standards.
• Design and implement system integrations using APIs, connectors, and middleware solutions.
• Handle data migration, transformation, validation, and ensure secure data models and governance within Dataverse.
• Engage actively in client workshops, technical discussions, and solution demonstrations.
• Collaborate with architects to maintain alignment with overall solution architecture and integration patterns.
• Provide continued support through delivery and post-deployment phases.
• Adhere strictly to coding standards, security protocols, and platform governance policies.
• Support testing efforts, troubleshoot defects, and optimize system performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience designing and deploying business applications on Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, ideally within grants, funding, or public sector domains.
• Expertise in Dataverse including data modeling, security, and governance.
• Proficiency with model-driven and canvas applications.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud flows, connectors, integrations), Power Pages, and basic Power BI report integration.
• Technical skills in .NET/C# plugins, JavaScript, and extending Power Platform capabilities.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Azure integration services, and middleware.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ALM, and DevOps methodologies.
• Desirable experience integrating ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics FO.
• Exposure to Azure integration components including Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
• Consulting or large-scale delivery background with ability to manage both functional and technical tracks simultaneously.
