About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Power Platform Developer to craft secure and scalable business applications within the extensive Microsoft ecosystem. While Power Platform skills are central, the role also involves working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, enterprise integration, and AI-enhanced solutions. You will improve business operations and decision-making by linking applications, data, and intelligent automation, collaborating closely with business units and IT teams from design through deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, test, and deploy Canvas Apps, model-driven apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate flows to streamline business workflows.
  • Convert business needs into reusable solution architectures, technical specs, data models, and integrations, considering applications, data, and AI collectively.
  • Support development of data pipelines, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions along with Power BI semantic models and reports to organize and deliver trusted business data.
  • Embed AI capabilities thoughtfully into solutions using tools like Copilot Studio and AI Builder with proper governance and controls.
  • Integrate applications with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, ERP, CRM, and other systems utilizing APIs, connectors, and Microsoft cloud services.
  • Liaise with analysts, project managers, and end-users to confirm requirements, verify deliverables, and aid adoption via practical training.
  • Implement governance, security, privacy, data quality, and application lifecycle best practices including controlled environments, versioning, testing, and repeatable deployments.
  • Maintain solutions by resolving issues, monitoring performance, documenting thoroughly, and supporting handovers.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering business applications, automation, and data/analytics solutions.
  • Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Power BI; familiarity with Power Pages is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in data lake, lakehouse, and warehouse architectures, including data layering and pipeline concepts.
  • Preferably experienced with Microsoft Azure services, especially Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, and data integration; exposure to Microsoft Fabric components is advantageous.
  • Ability to incorporate AI into applications and workflows, with experience using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, AI agents, generative AI, or automation technologies.
  • Skilled in SQL, Power Query, DAX, Power Fx, and able to use APIs, JSON, or JavaScript for solution extension and integration.
  • Experienced in full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution architecture, data modeling, testing, deployment, and support using Agile or Waterfall methods.
  • Familiar with application lifecycle management, managed solutions, deployment pipelines, version control; knowledge of GitHub or Azure DevOps is a benefit.
  • Understanding of security, privacy, data governance, access controls, and responsible AI practices ensuring maintainability and cost-efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities, capable of explaining complex technical ideas to business stakeholders.
  • Preferred credentials include Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform, Power BI, Fabric, or Azure.
