Power BI and Operations Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a proficient Power BI and Operations Analyst to design, customize, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs for a client based in the United States. This role demands a strong aptitude for utilizing business data, interpreting user requirements, and delivering insightful data visualizations. Familiarity with Microsoft platforms and tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs and user requests.
• Create customized dashboard views, including filters, KPIs, and reports tailored to user requirements.
• Analyze existing datasets to find optimal ways to visualize data effectively through charts, tables, and interactive components.
• Translate business demands into actionable Power BI solutions by connecting various data sources and Microsoft technologies.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling using Power Query and Power BI tools.
• Construct and maintain DAX measures, calculated fields, and KPIs for comprehensive reporting.
• Implement user-level security and manage report access as needed to ensure data confidentiality.
• Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to grasp their reporting needs and iteratively enhance dashboards.
• Identify and resolve data and reporting inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Continuously maintain and update existing dashboards in response to changing business criteria.
• Spot opportunities to automate repetitive reporting tasks using Microsoft automation tools.
• Document dashboards, data sources, calculation methodologies, and reporting workflows thoroughly.
• Engage with operations and supply chain teams to convert operational data into actionable business insights.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI development and report customization.
• Strong command over Microsoft platforms and associated business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to comprehend and translate business requirements into clear, effective dashboards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for independent collaboration with users and stakeholders.
• Background or experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, or related domains is preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and operational data advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint, Power Apps, or Microsoft platform builder is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Between 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Power BI, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics roles.
• Candidates combining Power BI proficiency with supply chain or operations knowledge will be highly favored.

Working Hours and Location

This position is based in Sector-62, Noida, with work hours scheduled from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM.
