Postman for Packages and Letters (m/f/d)

About the Role

Join Deutsche Post und DHL as a postman delivering parcels and letters in Aschersleben. This is a full-time position with opportunities for contract extension and permanent employment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of €17.20 according to tariff, which calculates to approximately €17.92 per hour (~€2,998 monthly including pro-rated 13th-month salary)
• Pro-rated Christmas bonus payable in November

Your Responsibilities

• Sorting and delivering letters and parcels using provided tools and assistance
• Deliveries will occur five weekdays per week between Monday and Saturday
• Average package weight under 10 kg, maximum package weight of 31.5 kg
• Delivery conducted using company vehicles, including fully electric vans

Candidate Profile

• Valid driving capability for vans is required
• Excellent communication skills in German
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically capable of handling deliveries
• Dependable, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work
