Job Overview

The role involves meticulous review and validation of loan documents to ensure they are accurate, complete, and adhere to Non-QM lending guidelines. You will conduct detailed audits of finalized loans to confirm all conditions meet the stated requirements, and prepare collateral and trailing document packages as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and authenticate loan documentation for compliance with Non-QM standards.
• Perform comprehensive audits on closed loan files to verify fulfillment of all conditions.
• Work closely with various internal departments to resolve discrepancies or loan file issues.
• Prepare and finalize closing documents, coordinating with title agencies and lenders to ensure prompt delivery.
• Maintain diligent and organized records of all closed loans and corresponding documentation.
• Keep informed of changes and trends within the mortgage industry and Non-QM products.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, including communication with clients and borrowers.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least two years of prior experience in mortgage post-closing processes.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage documentation requirements and compliance regulations.
• High attention to detail paired with strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency using mortgage-related software as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to meet production benchmarks under pressure without sacrificing quality or timeliness.
