About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This senior position offers the opportunity to shape strategic investment decisions, focusing on portfolio management, investment strategy, risk assessment, and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute portfolio strategies aligned with investment goals and risk tolerance.
- Regularly evaluate portfolio performance, including asset allocation, liquidity, and various risk indicators.
- Conduct thorough market, economic, and industry research to uncover investment opportunities.
- Perform financial analysis, valuation, and risk appraisal to assess potential investments.
- Recommend portfolio adjustments and rebalancing based on evolving market conditions.
- Measure portfolio results against benchmarks and key performance indicators.
- Compile comprehensive reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.
- Keep abreast of market trends and modify strategies as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to risk management policies and portfolio governance standards.
- Work jointly with analysts, investment teams, advisors, and senior leaders to support decision-making.
- Effectively communicate portfolio performance, strategic direction, and market insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in due diligence processes, investment selections, and optimization efforts.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of six years’ experience in portfolio management or a related field within investment or asset management.
- Robust expertise in investment analysis, asset allocation, valuation, and risk control.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, various investment products, and portfolio construction methodologies.
- Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with portfolio or investment management platforms.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Adept at interpreting complex financial and market data.
- Experience in UAE or GCC investment markets is favorable.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are an asset.
