Compensation & Schedule

The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $20 to $25 based on experience, with opportunities to earn renewal bonuses. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with potential overtime and weekend on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of apartment grounds, amenities, exterior building areas, leasing office, parking lots, and common community spaces.
• Support unit preparation by cleaning and removing trash from vacant apartments.
• Execute weather-related preparations and cleanup as necessary.
• Manage and efficiently use provided supplies, emphasizing cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by community leadership.

Qualifications

• Preferred: at least one year of experience as a porter.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic computer and internet skills are preferred, with familiarity using on-site resident management software considered a plus.
• Physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach extensively. Occasional climbing may be required. Visual acuity for close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are necessary. Ability to detect auditory and visual alarms is essential. Flexibility to work extended or variable hours including weekends is expected.
