Job Overview

As a Porter at Sabert Corporation, you will take charge of maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility, including floors, bathrooms, and common areas. This role involves removing debris, cleaning various surfaces, and ensuring the environment remains neat and presentable at all times.

Core Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and restock bathroom supplies regularly.
• Sanitize restrooms using mops and disinfectants.
• Perform exterior grounds upkeep, such as sweeping and debris removal when required.
• Collect and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal locations.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays as necessary.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning materials.
• Apply cleaning solutions to remove stains and maintain all surfaces.
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces to ensure sanitation.
• Carry out additional housekeeping tasks or organizational duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Between zero to six months experience operating forklifts, floor buffers, or floor sweepers is preferred.
• Ability to adhere strictly to given instructions and procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended durations.
• Capability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Frequent bending throughout the workday.
