Job Responsibilities

As a Porter, you will support the community by keeping all common areas—including bathrooms, event spaces, hallways, staircases, parking lots, sidewalks, windows, carpets, and floors—clean, safe, and welcoming. This role requires regular interaction with residents, their families, guests, and team members, demanding a consistently courteous and positive demeanor. You will follow cleaning protocols set by the Director of Housekeeping, assist with special cleaning duties, and participate in snow removal when necessary.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for at least one weekend day weekly, with shifts spanning either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a cheerful, approachable, and respectful attitude when engaging with colleagues, residents, visitors, and management.
• Demonstrate reliability, consistency, and thoroughness in cleaning responsibilities.
• Ability to deliver efficient cleaning service in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous cleaning experience within restaurants, healthcare, hotels, hospitality, or similar domains is advantageous.
• Experience working with senior citizens is preferred.
• Must effectively communicate in English.
