Coreworks, a part of Compass Healthcare, is currently seeking a full-time Porter to join their team located at Fellowship Village, Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Work Schedule and Location

The position operates Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 8000 Fellowship Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Additional schedule details will be provided during the interview process.

Job Summary

The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in front of house areas, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment throughout service times.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear, bus, and clean tables during peak service hours and prepare floors before service begins.
• Transport dishes and utensils safely from front of house to kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts according to safety protocols.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and pots; maintain cleanliness at cooking stations and equipment to support smooth service flow.
• Scrape and rinse food debris from dishes, wash by hand or using dishwashing equipment while upholding sanitation standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris, adhering to safety and sanitation requirements during meal service.
• Assist with receiving and moving heavy deliveries to designated storage, following safe lifting guidelines.
• Ensure proper food presentation, portion size, and temperature control in line with HACCP standards.
• Follow all safety practices including proper use of gloves, mitts, and slip-resistant footwear; commit personally to safe work practices.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and health standards at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in floor maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, including personal protective equipment and ergonomic lifting methods.

Compensation

The position offers a fixed hourly wage of $19.00.
