Porter

Role overview

We are hiring a committed Porter to support the smooth day-to-day running of healthcare operations. This is a full-time position with contracted hours of 37.5 per week. The role focuses on maintaining strong standards of customer service and cleanliness while contributing to a workplace that values individuality and development.

What the role involves

• Keeping the lobby and other shared areas clean, orderly, and presentable
• Supporting housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room setup and furniture movement
• Taking on selected reception tasks such as arranging theatre tickets or restaurant bookings
• Responding to customer needs and requests when needed
• Carrying out general errands
• Protecting customer safety by placing or removing warning signs, such as notices for wet floors or freshly painted areas

• Previous experience providing high-quality customer care
• The confidence to use initiative and make customer-focused decisions
• The ability to remain effective when working under pressure
