Job Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries from suppliers and compare items against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Verify quantities and check the number of delivered items against documentation.
• Inspect all goods for possible damage, defects, or missing components.
• Monitor product expiry dates and report any expired or near-expiry items promptly.
• Document received quantities by completing all required forms related to goods receipt.
• Transfer goods safely to their designated storage locations or relevant departments.
• Hand over all invoices and related delivery documents to the assigned Finance personnel.
• Report immediately any issues such as discrepancies, shortages, damages, or incorrect documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area while adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Stores, and other departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma-level education is required.
• Capable of accurately counting items and reviewing expiration dates and documentation.
• Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
• Physically fit to handle and move goods safely.
• Possess good communication abilities and a readiness to follow instructions.
• Prior experience in goods receiving or porter roles is advantageous.
