About the Role

LV Petroleum LLC, a prominent fuel industry leader, is seeking a responsible and proactive Porter to join the team at their Shorter, AL travel center. This role is key in maintaining the cleanliness and order of the facility to create a positive environment for employees and customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Keep the facility clean, focusing on areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and entrances.
• Carry out routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting daily.
• Assist with minor repair and maintenance tasks, notifying management about any significant issues.
• Support the arrangement and dismantling of equipment for meetings and special functions.
• Keep track of janitorial supplies and report replenishment needs to management.
• Deliver friendly and approachable customer service to enhance visitor and employee experience.
• Follow all safety and health regulations consistently.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning or custodial experience is advantageous.
• Capability to perform physical labor, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills combined with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
