Position Overview

The Pool & Beach Supervisor will manage the day-to-day functions of the resort's swimming pool and beach facilities, ensuring top-tier guest service, impeccable cleanliness, and rigorous adherence to health and safety standards. This role involves leading staff, coordinating operational activities, monitoring equipment and premises, and guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of pool and beach zones.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and supervise pool and beach attendants as well as lifeguards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation of all pool and beach areas continuously.
  • Conduct routine inspections of amenities including sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, showers, and changing rooms.
  • Ensure all equipment is safely stored, well maintained, and used appropriately.
  • Regularly test and document water quality in compliance with hotel and regulatory criteria.
  • Guarantee lifeguard presence and safety procedures are upheld throughout operating hours.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promptly address any unsafe actions.
  • Strictly enforce all safety, emergency, hygiene, and operational protocols.
  • Greet guests and provide information regarding facilities and activities available.
  • Assist guests in securing sun loungers, towels, umbrellas, and cabanas.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally ensuring timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, engineering, security, recreation, and other departments to maintain smooth seamless operations.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged items, safety risks, or other problems immediately to relevant teams.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory of towels, amenities, cleaning materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor and control departmental stock, reporting shortages or damages as needed.
  • Lead daily team briefings and disseminate key operational updates to staff.
  • Prepare staffing schedules and assign tasks based on operational needs.
  • Ensure proper procedures are completed for opening and closing the pool and beach areas each day.
  • Keep precise records of water testing results, incidents, maintenance logs, and lost and found items.
  • Report all accidents and incidents without delay and ensure full documentation as per hotel standards.
  • Assist emergency response efforts and coordinate closely with security personnel.
