Pool Attendant

Role Overview

As a Pool Attendant at The Luxury Collection in Doha, Qatar, you will maintain cleanliness and safety around the pool area while fostering a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests. Your upbeat demeanor will help enhance guest experiences during recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the pool deck by washing and mopping.
• Ensure the recreational area remains fun and relaxing by displaying energetic and positive behavior.
• Monitor guest activities and respond swiftly and correctly according to local procedures during emergencies.
• Enforce facility rules and safety regulations to promote a secure environment.
• Identify guests unable to safely participate in activities and notify supervisors promptly.
• Provide first aid assistance to injured individuals until professional medical help arrives.
• Handle towels by collecting, folding, and arranging them following company guidelines.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe situations to management immediately.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a clean and professional personal appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with their needs, including aiding guests with disabilities.
• Maintain professional communication with colleagues and guests.
• Carry out quality assurance duties and comply with all expected standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds, and navigate various terrains and obstacles with ease.
• Execute additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No previous work experience required.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
• Certifications required: CPR and First Aid certifications, along with any local or state-mandated training.
