Role & Responsibilities
- Manage credit risk for the retail loan portfolio.
- Develop credit policies within regulatory guidelines and organizational risk appetite.
- Facilitate implementation and ensure adherence to credit policies through training and continuous guidance for credit and operations teams.
- Identify and improve existing credit underwriting, risk management, and operational processes.
- Monitor portfolio quality by tracking early delinquencies and Non-Performing Assets (NPA).
- Travel to multiple locations for assessing local policy and product needs, conducting process reviews, and delivering training sessions.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of Loan Origination System (LOS) and Business Rules Engine (BRE) systems and oversee their deployment.
- Develop OTC and PDD matrices, manage delegation of authority, and monitor overdue accounts.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in mortgage risk management and credit policy formulation (mandatory).
- Previous exposure to affordable housing loans and loans against property (mandatory).
