Role Overview

The Trust & Safety Policy Team establishes and maintains the rules and guidelines governing member behavior across Match Group platforms. As a Policy Analyst, you will contribute to this mission by performing operational tasks such as in-depth data analysis, conducting audits, drafting and updating policy guidance, and serving as a direct point of contact for policy-related support. Your role will also involve training, collaborating with moderation and anti-abuse teams, and improving operational procedures through gathering and relaying feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine current policies and guidelines to identify deficiencies, inconsistencies, or conflicting elements and evaluate whether they are enforced effectively.
• Assist with creating new policies and refining existing ones by conducting thorough research on relevant topics.
• Support the rollout of policy modifications and help maintain communication and feedback loops with operational teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned policies, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to implement changes and collect feedback.
• Contribute to Policy Team projects and workflows as required, supporting overall operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Between two to three years of experience working in Trust & Safety roles.
• Demonstrated history of developing or improving content policies.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of successful delivery.
• Meticulous attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and strong focus on achieving results.
• Skilled in gathering, synthesizing, analyzing, and interpreting both numeric and qualitative data.
• Experienced in engaging, influencing, and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Highly organized and an effective communicator with comprehensive conveyance skills.

Team Environment

• Reports to AJ Marroquin, Senior Manager of Trust & Safety Policy.
• Collaborates with senior policy analysts based across EMEA and North America.
• Accountable for broad policy portfolios rather than specific brands within the Match Group family.
• Operates within Governance functions, working alongside Training and Quality teams to ensure adherence to T&S standards.
• Maintains autonomy in role execution with active managerial oversight for quality assurance, progressing toward greater ownership and recognition by cross-functional partners.
• Success equates to drafting clear guidance that empowers agent teams to confidently and independently apply policies and policies that withstand rigorous audits.
