PMC Director, Data Centre Sector Lead

About the Role

Join Gleeds as a senior leader specializing in Project and Cost Management Consultancy (PMC) for data centre developments across the GCC region including Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar. Gleeds is internationally recognized for delivering high-performance data centres that safeguard critical information, working with major global data centre clients on new builds, retrofits, and expansions.

In your role, you will spearhead new PMC commissions, lead client engagements, and help shape the data centre sector presence within Gleeds Arabia. You will act as a key ambassador for the company, cultivating client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring exceptional delivery throughout entire project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Secure and manage comprehensive PMC project commissions for data centre developments.
• Represent Gleeds as a senior leadership team member and business ambassador in the GCC.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with data centre owners, developers, and stakeholders.
• Drive new business growth and expand the data centre consultancy market share.
• Deliver expert project and cost management consultancy throughout project lifecycles, providing guidance and leadership.

Experience and Skills Required

• Over 15 years in project management and cost consultancy.
• Minimum 2 years residing and working on projects in the GCC region.
• In-depth specialist understanding of data centre development both regionally in the GCC and internationally.
• Proven leadership in delivering PMC and cost consultancy services at senior levels.
• Demonstrated success in securing new clients and expanding business streams.
• Ability to inspire and support teams to perform at their best.
• Outstanding organizational skills and flexibility to adapt swiftly to dynamic environments.
• Strong professional networking skills with a wide data centre client and stakeholder pool.

Qualifications

• Designation such as FRICS, MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent professional qualification.
• Degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
