Plumber

Overview

We seek a skilled Plumber with substantial hands-on expertise in plumbing installation, upkeep, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, particularly in industrial or large-scale facility settings. Candidates must hold a recognized plumbing trade qualification and demonstrate a minimum of four years experience in relevant plumbing work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance, repair, and adjustments of plumbing infrastructure.
• Diagnose and mend leaks, pipe blockages, damaged pipes, valves, fittings, and plumbing fixtures.
• Examine plumbing systems to detect faults and possible failures.
• Install and sustain water supply, drainage, sanitary, and associated piping frameworks.
• Maintain pumps, valves, pipe fittings, fixtures, and related plumbing equipment.
• Interpret plumbing drawings and system layouts accurately.
• Execute cutting, threading, joining, and fitting of pipes as necessary.
• Perform pressure and leakage testing on plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing breakdowns and maintenance needs.
• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and maintenance teams during operations.
• Adhere rigorously to all Heath, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, permit requirements, and safe working practices on site.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Trade Certification from an approved vocational training institution, including full apprenticeship training.
• At least four years of relevant practical plumbing experience.
• Strong practical skills in plumbing maintenance tasks.
• Experience in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or large-scale facilities is highly desirable.
• Capability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and layouts.
• Good understanding of piping, fittings, valves, drainage, and water supply systems.
• Solid knowledge of workplace safety standards and HSE compliance.
