About the Role

Our client, a reputable maintenance and project services company, is expanding due to a consistent influx of residential and commercial projects throughout Christchurch. They are currently seeking a Plumber to join their growing team.

This role involves a diverse range of tasks including maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and involvement in smaller projects at various sites. You will be part of a collaborative team where daily tasks offer variety and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and diagnose faults
• Install and upgrade plumbing systems efficiently
• Work on water supply, stormwater drainage, and related systems
• Repair and replace pipework, fixtures, gutters, and downpipes
• Contribute to refurbishment and upgrade activities
• Complete job-related reports and maintain records using tablet technology
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on-site

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably hold a current New Zealand Plumbing Registration and Practising Licence (not mandatory)
• Experience in either residential or commercial plumbing roles
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues
• Effective communication skills and a cooperative team-player mindset
• Competency with digital tools such as tablets and mobile applications
• Valid New Zealand Drivers Licence
