Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber to join a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor serving the Social Housing sector in Croydon. This permanent role involves carrying out routine property maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards and relevant regulations, and delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties, completing multiple tasks each day.
• Maintain high workmanship quality aligned with health and safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Deliver exceptional service standards to residents within their homes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a plumber, particularly within social housing or a related field.
• Desirable qualifications include City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, NHF SORS knowledge, relevant trade certifications, CSCS card, and asbestos awareness certification.
• Familiarity with health and safety legislation and compliance procedures.
• Proficient in using PDAs and job scheduling software with sound IT skills.
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS check, with no unspent criminal convictions.
• Holder of a full UK manual driving license.
