Role Overview
This full-time position based on-site in Dublin involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage networks in both residential and commercial settings. Daily responsibilities comprise diagnosing plumbing problems, executing maintenance and repair tasks, testing system performance and safety, and maintaining detailed documentation of completed work. Collaboration with coworkers and other trade professionals, compliance with safety protocols and company standards, and ensuring tidy workspaces are also essential aspects of this role. The plumber must clearly and professionally communicate with customers, explaining diagnoses, recommending solutions, and advising on any needed follow-up services.
Qualifications
- Proficient in installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing infrastructures
- Experienced with pipes, fittings, plumbing materials, and related tools
- Knowledgeable in routine inspection and preventative maintenance procedures
- Effective customer service and communication skills to manage client expectations and resolve concerns professionally
- Possession of relevant trade certifications or practical plumbing qualifications
