Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled plumber to undertake installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems adhering to safety standards. The role involves comprehensive knowledge of plumbing components, blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting various plumbing issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing water supply lines, drainage systems, and various plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and appliances.
- Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately plan pipe layouts.
- Diagnosing plumbing issues like leaks, burst pipes, and slow drains and clearing blockages using appropriate tools like snakes or hydro-jet machines.
- Handling pipes by cutting, bending, threading, soldering, and joining different materials including PVC, PEX, copper, and cast iron.
- Performing pressure tests on plumbing systems to detect leaks and ensure they meet local building and safety regulations.
- Conducting routine and preventive maintenance on both commercial and residential plumbing and gas or water lines.
Working Hours
The working schedule is from 9 AM to 6 PM.
