Skylime offers a sensory-friendly and inclusive play area tailored for children aged 2 to 12 years, embracing both neurodivergent and neurotypical kids. We foster a nurturing environment where children can freely explore and play according to their preferences without pressure or strict rules.
Role Overview
Position: Play Facilitator
Experience: 0 to 3 years; freshers are welcome
Type: Full-time, on-site
Location: JP Nagar Phase 1, Bengaluru
Primary Responsibilities
- Guide child-driven, unstructured play in various areas including sensory, soft play, pretend play, art, movement, and reading zones.
- Supervise children actively to ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment, attentively adjusting to diverse play styles, communication methods, and sensory needs; knowing when to assist or provide space.
- Organize, set up, and restore play zones and materials throughout the daily schedule.
- Assist in conducting activities, workshops, events, and birthday celebrations.
- Engage warmly with parents or caregivers and report any concerns promptly to the Centre Manager.
- Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and safeguarding protocols and aid in daily opening and closing tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Enjoys interacting and playing with children, including both neurodivergent and neurotypical.
- Possesses a calm, patient, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach, engaging children without being overly directive.
- Observant, energetic, responsible, safety-conscious, and effective in communication.
- Motivated to learn, proactive in taking ownership, and capable of collaborative teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in fields such as Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Social Work, Fine Arts, or related disciplines.
- Previous experience in preschools, activity centres, inclusive education, or working with children is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates with passion and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
