Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and oversee highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Create and maintain automated provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Continuously monitor system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for resource efficiency and enhanced application responsiveness.
• Collaborate with software development teams to incorporate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment processes.
• Apply and maintain robust security measures including access controls, vulnerability management, and incident handling protocols.
• Investigate complex infrastructure challenges, conduct root cause analyses, and devise preventative strategies.
• Participate in on-call support rotations providing round-the-clock assistance for critical infrastructure platforms.
• Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational workflows accurately.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools that can augment platform performance and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in infrastructure management and processes.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrable experience managing and implementing large-scale cloud infrastructures using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Good knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or Go.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking, security principles, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience using monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude with acute attention to detail.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal aptitude.

Additional Information

This position is offered on a fixed term contract basis for two years.
