  • Utilize Data Lakehouse platforms such as Databricks to extend platform functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps/MLOps, site reliability, and product teams to establish platform standards, boost reliability, and enable self-service capabilities for developers.
  • Engage in architectural discussions, recommend improvements, and advocate best practices.
  • Keep abreast of emerging cloud-native technologies and industry trends to continuously optimize the platform.

Candidate Profile

  • Practical experience with Databricks or similar Data Lakehouse technologies.
  • Substantial hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production environments or at scale.
  • Proficient in Python, Shell scripting, and/or Go for automating infrastructure workflows and scripting.
  • Experienced in using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a sense of ownership and independent work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Benefits

  • Comprehensive onboarding with dedicated welcome days to ensure a smooth integration.
  • Access to sports memberships via Urban Sports Club, encouraging physical well-being through diverse fitness activities.
  • Confidential and free psychological support services provided by psychologists from nilo for mental health assistance.
  • Flexible work-from-home options, permitting up to 20 remote workdays per year anywhere within the EU, subject to job requirements.
  • Opportunities for personal development supported by various internal and external training programs to foster career growth.
