Job Overview

The Platform Administrator position is responsible for overseeing the management and upkeep of the essential systems and infrastructure supporting data management and analytics solutions. The goal is to maintain platform stability, security, and peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and sustain various platform components to ensure seamless operation.
• Monitor and manage platform performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and resolve problems efficiently.
• Enforce security protocols to safeguard the platform and ensure adherence to relevant compliance requirements.
• Oversee storage systems and backups to guarantee data integrity and availability.
• Maintain platform resiliency, ensuring high availability and effective recovery mechanisms.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline platform tasks and reduce manual workloads.
• Administer network infrastructure along with monitoring and logging systems associated with the platform.
• Work in close collaboration with other departments, including Development and Operations, to align platform capabilities with organizational objectives.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools, routinely assessing enhancements to improve scalability and performance.
• Document procedures for platform installation, upgrades, testing, and provide detailed architectural and operational documentation covering low- and high-level designs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Candidates should have between 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in platform administration or similar areas.
