Job description
Job Overview and Experience Requirements
The role requires candidates to have between two to five years of practical experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment. A fundamental understanding of workplace safety protocols, notably including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, is essential.
Preferred Skills and Operational Knowledge
- Experience operating furnaces and managing thin film coating processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems is considered an asset.
- Skills in handling glass materials safely, including operating cranes and forklifts, are beneficial.
- Prior experience working in rotating shift schedules is preferred.
