Job Overview
We seek an experienced Plant Fitter to become a part of the Gracelands team, providing mechanical expertise for heavy construction machinery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy plant machinery.
- Maintain and service equipment including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and loaders to ensure operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven hands-on experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or Heavy Plant Engineer is mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction plant machinery and associated equipment.
- Strong skills in diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Practical experience repairing a range of heavy machinery like excavators and dumpers.
- Must possess a valid full UK driving licence.
