Planning Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Planning Engineer with substantial experience in UAE real estate development to oversee Planning and Project Controls throughout the various stages of a project lifecycle, including Pre-Development, Development, Construction, Handover, and Close-Out phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated master schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Implement project controls, conduct progress monitoring, and prepare executive-level reports.
• Plan and evaluate pre-development feasibility studies and development programs.
• Manage Authority Approvals, ensuring compliance with required regulations.
• Oversee RERA registration, escrow arrangements, and regulatory compliance tracking.
• Forecast cash flows and plan commercial activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with various departments including Development, Design, Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Construction teams for streamlined execution.
• Coordinate launch readiness planning for sales and marketing initiatives.
• Provide regular progress updates and reporting to clients and investors.
• Develop and utilize Power BI dashboards, AI tools, and digital reporting techniques to enhance project insights.
• Conduct extension of time (EOT) assessments, analyze delays, and strategize recovery plans.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in planning and project controls within real estate development.
• Prior work experience with developers in the UAE market.
• Exposure to various types of developments including residential, mixed-use, villa, and high-rise projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, and advanced Excel functionalities.
• Familiarity with Dubai’s authority approval processes and development protocols.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, AACE, or NICMAR are advantageous.
