Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team at CMTI-Construction Management Training Institute Private Limited in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves supporting the comprehensive aspects of project management including planning, scheduling, material quantification, billing, and coordination with vendors and resources using tools such as MSP and MS Nav.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Microsoft Project (MSP) to assist in planning project schedules and coordinating resources effectively.
- Track project progress and support vendor coordination along with purchase order processing.
- Monitor material movement and coordinate project activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically Microsoft Navision (MS Nav), to manage project documentation and vendor interactions.
- Responsible for accurate quantification of materials to ensure correct billing and invoice preparation.
- Coordinate documentation and billing procedures to maintain transparency and compliance.
Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project (MSP) for scheduling and project planning.
- Experience in using ERP systems, especially Microsoft Navision (MS Nav), for project and vendor management.
- Ability to accurately quantify construction materials for billing purposes.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain vendor coordination and purchase order processing.
- Knowledge of invoice preparation and billing coordination processes.
