Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Planner to join our team located in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in project planning and scheduling, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with project managers, consultants, contractors, and various multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and continuously update detailed project schedules.
- Track progress of ongoing projects and revise schedules based on actual work performance.
- Gather and analyze progress information from engineering teams and contractors.
- Create weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and updated planning documents.
- Collaborate with various teams to consolidate planning inputs ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Participate in project meetings, documenting minutes, action points, and follow-up activities.
- Conduct critical path method analyses to identify delays and risks related to scheduling.
- Carry out delay assessments and assist in developing recovery and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee project milestones to ensure adherence to planned schedules.
- Provide frequent schedule updates highlighting critical areas needing management focus.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling related to construction or consulting projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project software.
- Comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle, construction sequencing, and project control processes.
- Experience with critical path analysis, delay evaluation, and creating recovery plans.
- Strong skills in communication, coordination, organization, and reporting.
- Capable of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
