Overview
Inclusive Tutoring Network is seeking a Placement Coordinator to join their team based in Lincoln, England. This full-time, office-based position involves coordinating and quality assuring tuition placements for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision requirements. The role offers an immediate start with an annual salary of £28,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day coordination of new and ongoing tuition placements.
- Match suitable tutors to pupils based on their individual needs.
- Maintain communication and build relationships with Local Authorities, schools, and families.
- Conduct regular tutor supervision and safeguarding check-ins to assure quality and compliance.
- Monitor placement reports and ensure the standards of tuition placement quality are upheld.
- Support the recruitment process for tutors.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding and compliance protocols throughout all placements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working within educational settings, particularly with SEND or alternative provision populations, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), Local Authority procedures, safeguarding guidelines, and educational provisions is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple placements concurrently at various stages.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with professionals and families.
