Role Overview

The Placement Assistant position is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi. The individual will coordinate placement-related activities, maintain partnerships with companies, and support recruitment efforts for students. Key duties include organizing campus recruitment events, internships, and career workshops while ensuring precise recordkeeping within HR and placement systems. The assistant will also serve as a communication link among students, employers, faculty, and management, provide job search advice, and help students improve their resumes and interview skills.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of Benefits Administration to manage and convey employment benefits from recruiters.
• Training capabilities to help conduct workshops on employability, interview skills, and career guidance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with students, faculty, and external employers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple placement tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic data management tools; familiarity with placement or human resource software is an asset.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline; prior experience in HR or placement roles is advantageous.
